Provides drivers with high-definition images of the area around the vehicle, helping drivers to observe changes in the real-time scenery around the vehicle when backing up/traveling at low speeds, and to avoid obstacles that may cause collisions.
The HD rearview camera captures the environmental image through CMOS chip and outputs video information to the vehicle controller. The panoramic system is to distortion correct the four HD camera images, seamlessly splicing, shaping the real scene of driving, realizing a true 360-degree panoramic bird's-eye view image, and providing the driver with a seamless spliced HD image around the body.
Generally a vehicle is installed with 4 surround view cameras, which are located at the front, rear and below the left and right rearview mirrors. Drivers can observe the situation around the vehicle through the center display during driving. Vehicles with automatic parking function also utilize the video images from the four cameras to realize the automatic parking function through software algorithms.
